Comparing the basics

Season Rating: All products meet at least a 2 Season Rating which means they help you start earlier in the spring and grow longer into the fall. Some products will extend your season longer than others. To meet the 3 Season Rating, the greenhouse needs to be big enough and insulated enough to add heat in the winter (it is too hard on a heater to heat a small greenhouse). The 4 Season Rating means the greenhouse can be used all year. The greenhouse has adequate venting and diffused light to allow you to keep it moderately cool in the summer.

Cost: $- less than $1000, $$- 1000-2000, $$$ 2000-3000 $$$$ over 3000, rating based on the least expensive size in that model.
