Greenhouse Tips For Using A Smaller Greenhouse

Thinking of buying a greenhouse but you are short of space and money?  Don’t fret you can still capture some of the benefits of having a greenhouse by purchasing a small portable greenhouse or cold frame. Here are a few greenhouse tips and nuggets of wisdom for those who love to garden but a large, full-size greenhouse is not an option.

Greenhouse tips #1:  Even if you don’t have a lot of room you can still have a greenhouse.  Look for a seed house that will provide you with the ability to begin seeds in the spring.  You can also use a seed house to protect plants from the cold in the fall.  This comes in handy when the freezing winds blow and the snow flies.

Greenhouse tips #2:  Look for a seed house that is portable and easy to move around.  You can put your greenhouse in a different place every year and your garden changes. Plus if you move to a new home, you can easily take it with you.

Greenhouse tips #3:  Another great feature of a portable seed house is that is allows you to place the greenhouse directly over existing plants.  This saves you time because you don’t need to relocate all the plants; just move the greenhouse.

Greenhouse tips #4:  When you need a little more space, consider a small cold frame greenhouse.

Greenhouse tips #5:  The cold frame greenhouse will let you do everything and more that the seed house does.  The cold frame greenhouse has storage space and has more room than the seed house. Plus if it’s double walled it will help insulate the space so you can grow even longer.

Greenhouse tips #6:  Look for a cold frame greenhouse that features Solexx panels.  These panels provide the best possible solar heat.  When you want to keep your plants as long as possible after summer is over, a greenhouse with Solexx panels is a great idea.

Consider these tips when you are looking for a smaller greenhouse.
