If you have a garden greenhouse, you may have the perfect place for a garden party. After all, what could be better than a party in a greenhouse filled with beautiful flowers and plants?

The theme of your party will not be hard to come up with!  The garden party is a theme that can be easily accomplished in a greenhouse.  You may need to spend some time getting the garden greenhouse ready but if it has enough room, you are in business.

You will need to decide if there is a specific reason for the party.  Are you going to have a wedding shower, a birthday party or an anniversary celebration?  Maybe you want to congratulate a friend or just have a lovely get together.

Once you have decided the reason for the party you will be ready to prepare and send the invitations.  You can make these invitations and even use things from your garden greenhouse such as dried flowers or herbs.  Send the invitations at least one month in advance and make sure your guest list is the right size for the space you have in the greenhouse.  If the garden greenhouse is rather small you may be able to move part of the festivities to the area outside of the greenhouse.

You may have room in the greenhouse for the tables and chairs you will need for the party.  If not, you can arrange the greenhouse so that the food and beverages are inside and the seating is outside.  Plan to use some of your potted plants as centerpieces and you may have all kinds of other things around the garden greenhouse that can be used in creative ways.  If you want to dress things up a bit you can add ribbons, vases or other containers that will hold flowers and plants.

When cooking for the garden party you may have fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and even flowers that can be used.  Float edible flowers in the punch and add garnishes using herbs and vegetables.  Serve dip with your homegrown fruits and vegetables or combine them with other ingredients for a delectable main course.
